As women, we may often experience feelings of frustration, being stuck, lost, lonely, or being disconnected from our inner voice. This group is designed to aid participants in supporting one another emotionally and mentally through learning alternatives ways of coping, relating or being.

Every session is themed, in which, the facilitator takes an active role in guiding the process by providing relevant psychoeducation and utilising therapeutic interventions when necessary. A safe and confidential setting for sharing is always encouraged. All sessions will be conducted in English.

Session 2: July 6th, 2019

This is the 3rd session through the Women's Empowerment Group Therapy in which an Inner Child Regression Meditation will be facilitated.

Your Inner Child is that aspect of you that is able to experience innocence, creativity, awe, and wonder toward life. However, when the inner child has been wounded during its younger years, we grow into adults who ACT from the space of this wounded inner child.

In this regression, we facilitate a meeting and deeper connection with the wounded inner child. The challenge is to know, accept, and connect with this aspect of our self. Not reject it. When we do this, we bring healing to aspects of our self that have been suppressed and locked away

Location: Lotus Studio,  Runstraat 35, 5622 AX Eindhoven

Time: 7pm - 8.30pm

Date: (Wednesdays)

Session 1: Date to be announced soon.

For this first group meeting, we will be focusing on Self-Esteem. When moving to a new country or experiencing any major life-changing event, our sense of SELF gets questioned. We become more insecure, guarded, and afraid to step out of our comfort zone.

It is important therefore to work on the SELF bit by bit since recurrent moments of stress can adversely affect the self-esteem further denigrating it.

Some core psychotherapeutic exercises that will be used are listed below. These will be used to prompt group discussion.
*The mirror of the current self
*Ideal of the self vs. concept of the self
*Strengths-based reflection
